A propos
Née en 2016 dans le quartier d’Outremeuse, La Cyclerie a toujours été un lieu à part — entre atelier de quartier, communauté cycliste et fabrique artisanale.
Depuis, le projet a grandi, et avec lui les gens qui le font vivre.
Ce qui était un atelier de quartier devient peu à peu un véritable tiers-lieu créatif, où des artisan·e·s aux univers complémentaires ont trouvé leur place. Gilles – Karma Wheels y construit ses roues à la main — une construction soignée, pensée pièce par pièce. Corentin y assure la réparations et le montage de vélo . Chloé y coud ses sacs c-pouki, pensés pour le quotidien à vélo, a pied et en fauteils . Annick – Anka confectionne des matelas en laine belge sur mesure. Maxime – Latombe inventory y développe sa sélection de fripes vintage — workwear et militaria.
Et si La Cyclerie s’enrichit de nouveaux visages, elle essaime aussi. Thomas — alias Cyclerougegorge — a investi un atelier plus grand, désormais équipé d’une cabine de peinture, pour continuer à développer Huflå : sa gamme de cadres et fourches en acier, produits en petites séries, avec la même rigueur que ses premiers vélos sur mesure.
Des métiers différents, un même endroit. Un lieu où l’on fabrique, répare et invente — à taille humaine, dans le quartier.
